Wolverine Building Group broke ground on a new 100,000 square foot facility for Hastings Fiberglass. The ground breaking ceremony took place Wednesday, June 7 at 1301 West Green Street, Hastings, MI 49058.   This ceremony marked a new chapter for the fiberglass tool designer and manufacturer.

The building site stands approximately a quarter mile down the road from their current, 70,000 square foot headquarters located at 770 Cook Road, Hastings MI 49058. Hastings Fiberglass, the holder of numerous product patents including the widely used Tel-o-Pole no twist stick, required better work flow after numerous additions.

The $8 million development was contracted to Wolverine Building Group due to the construction enterprise’s wide-ranging experience serving commercial, industrial, educational, community, residential, manufacturing, and national retail clients. With the goal of keeping costs in line and build quality high, Wolverine and Hastings agreed to utilize a pre-engineered metal building model (PEMB). The anticipated completion date for the project currently is set for February 2018.
