Meridian Township, MI – (March 17, 2014) International organic grocery Whole Foods Market is coming to mid-Michigan this year, courtesy of developer A&G, LLC.

Located near the corner of Grand River and Hagadorn in Meridian Township, the new Whole Foods Market will total nearly 36,000 sq. ft.  Developer A&G, LLC, general contractor Wolverine Building Group, and architect BRR Architecture are set to break ground and begin work on the shell of the facility in early April, with completion scheduled for the last quarter of 2014.

The Meridian Township Whole Foods will be the sixth Michigan location for the grocery chain, and the only one west of Ann Arbor.  It will feature a salad bar, pub and coffee bar, cafeteria, and outdoor seating with fireplace.  “Whole Foods will be a welcome addition to the Lansing area,” says Wolverine’s project manager Jim Reyers.  “This facility will provide residents with opportunities to purchase organic produce and a variety of other healthy options, year round.”

Wolverine Building Group is celebrating their 75th anniversary this year.  For more information about Wolverine Building Group, please visit www.wolvgroup.com.
