Project Overview
Wolverine’s purpose of Positively Impacting People and Communities is evident in our work with Next Step of West Michigan, a Grand Rapids non-profit that provides opportunities for people who are overcoming significant obstacles.
Next Step serves individuals who have faced employment barriers, such as incarceration or substance abuse, by providing job training that includes carpentry skills. Next Step participants utilize those skills to manufacture wood products.
Our Design-Build team led the project, answering the challenges of this expanding ministry. The 14,000 sq. ft. pre-engineered metal building will provide Next Step with the space they need to meet the need.
