Granger Medical Office Building
This new 30,000 square foot, $2.2 Million medical office building is part of Metro Health Village, a 170-acre sustainably-built development constructed in conjunction with Metro Hospital. In keeping with the goal of the development to be environmentally responsible, the building was designed by BETA Design of Grand Rapids to meet requirements for LEED certification. The main tenant of the building is Michigan Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Efforts were also made to attain a high level of indoor environmental quality with the use of low-emitting materials and chemical control. Wolverine Building Group contributed to the sustainable efforts throughout the construction process with waste management procedures. In addition to the sustainable techniques used in the design, Wolverine assisted the Granger Group in pre-purchasing and expedited key components to the site to obtain a compressed construction schedule.
