Adapting former Burger King Restaurant into rising brand Culvers Butter Burgers
Wolverine was tapped to convert a former Burger King Restaurant into a Culvers Butter Burgers restaurant. The project began at the tail end of the COVID 19 pandemic. The adaptive reuse project benefited from existing infrastructure, utilities, materials and footprint.
With long lead times to install utilities and material delays, the benefit of transforming the existing property saved time, money and offered fast turn-around to opening. The owner had hoped to use most if the existing structure for additional savings, but once Wolverine was enlisted to the project, the structure was discovered to be compromised and most of it was abandoned in favor of new construction.
