Camp Roger Tree House
Our Wolverine Building Group team constructed this Tree House as a fun addition to Camp Roger, a 190-acre camp that has been serving West Michigan’s young people since 1941 with opportunities to explore, hike, and learn about the natural world.
Construction efforts were completed by minimizing land disturbance to maintain the natural surroundings. The Tree House includes a rustic natural rough-hewn wood exterior with a standing seam roof and open floor plan. The structure uses eight 45′ tall structural poles as its foundation. We also constructed a bridge with eight cables providing a 10,000 pound support capacity.
The Tree House was constructed as part of a joint effort with Camp Roger; much of the work was performed by camp volunteers, with supplies were donated by local subcontractors.
