Upscale renovation/addition for local country club
Project Overview
Our team was approached by Blythefield Country Club with a unique challenge. Due to space and layout limitations at their facility, which was originally constructed in 1920, members were forced to use separate buildings for dining and bar services. In response, our team completed an extensive renovation/addition to combine both functions into one building, all while updating the facility where possible.
The project involved the creation of a new center corridor and entry, a 350-square-foot dining addition, renovations to the covered patio, and the addition of a 3,000-square-foot patio area overlooking the golf course. An early completion date was required so the facility could host the Meijer LPGA Classic, which our team was able to accomplish.
The project received the Associated Builders and Contractors Western Michigan Chapter (ABC/WMC) Excellence in Construction Award in the Renovation/Addition $1-$5 Million category.
