Bethel Abundant Life Center Moves to New Space
Grandville, MI – (October 6, 2014) Bethel Abundant Life Center, a church founded in Grand Rapids over 50 years ago, has re-located to a new space in Grandville, MI.
General contractor Wolverine Building Group oversaw the renovations, which consisted of the conversion of a former grocery store into a 19,000 square foot space for Bethel. The new facility includes worship spaces, offices, and classrooms for youth groups and Sunday school, as well as other specialized spaces. Craig Architects was the architect on the project.
The project was funded in part through a capital campaign, the largest in the church’s history.
A primary goal of the expansion was the construction of a new 5,000 sq. ft. Children’s Center. The Children’s Center provides space for Bethel’s Youth Ministry program, which offers resources for parents and children, as well as academic support for children. The church also houses a spacious sanctuary that is completely barrier-free.
Wolverine Building Group is celebrating their 75th anniversary this year. For more information about Wolverine Building Group, please visit www.wolvgroup.com. For more information on Bethel Abundant Life Center, please visit www.bethelalc.org.
